Jesse Ruelas

I am proud to have been an successful business owner of Gateway Shell for 35 years and Marks Chevron for 15 years, and I am now officially retired. During that time I was active in my Clovis Civic Duties and community. I served on the Clovis Chamber as the first Hispanic president in 1971. I was a charter member of the Clovis Elks, Clovis Kiwanis and settled in the Clovis Rotary Club. I served on the board over 25 years, and I initiated the very successful , and still running the Clovis Food Baskets that feed over 500 families each year. I was VP of the Clovis Boys League and also awarded the Einer Cook award in 1995 and awarded the Clovis Chamber Civic Award. My family and I have been inducted in the Clovis hall of Fame. I am now officially retired, playing golf, hanging out with the grandkids, and doing yardwork.
